The tournament offers both Major Leagues and Junior Leagues.  The RoboCup Dutch Open will host the following leagues:

Major Leagues (scientific focus: students and researchers)

  • Middle-Size League
  • Simulation League
  • @Home League

Junior Leagues (educational focus: children and middle school students)

  • Soccer challenge
  • Rescue challenge
  • @Home League

National Holiday: 'Koninginnedag' (Queens Day)

The RoboCup Dutch Open takes place until 29 April. In the Netherlands 30 April is a national holiday: Queens Day. This day all the Dutch dress up in orange and participate in all sorts of activities. There are many parties in the inner city during the day as well in the night of 29 April. If you really want to enjoy something typically Dutch, you just can’t miss Queens Day! The website for tourist information will give you more information about the activities that will be organized this day: www.vvveindhoven.nl. So bring your orange outfit and join the Dutch!
